Esperance Freight Lines (EFL) won ‘Business of the
Year’ award at Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Awards held
in August 2010.
Michael Harding seven years ago went from employee
to Working Director and has built the company up with his strong and close,
Esperance based team, to become one of the largest WA Transport companies.
EFL’s business base involves all sectors of the
community servicing General Freight, Farmers and Mining businesses. EFL has also
expanded their operations and in addition to the Esperance route ex Perth,
operations have commenced in Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.
These links are known as
Geraldton Freight Lines (GFL) and Kalgoorlie Freight Lines (KFL).
Michael is proud of the service and support EFL
provides the local businesses, agricultural and mining industry. It is integral
to the prosperity of the business for all parties involved that when we keep it
local, we support
each other.
Michael’s inspirational quote descriptive of his company is
“Esperance Freight Lines – Employs Local, Supports Local – Local’s Benefit”.
Michael also has adopted the slogan “The Can Do
Company” and will always be personally involved in the running of the business.
He is 100% hands on in the operations, quoting all freight, driving trucks,
managing staff and selling bricks.
Michael would like to thank the Esperance Business Community, the Esperance Port
and local Farmers and Mining industries, as they have contributed to the success and company nomination
for this award.
